Victory Beach - Sihanoukville
At the base of Victory Hill nestled between the Port Area and the bridge to Koh Puos is the pleasant Victory Beach. A favourite among the expats who live in the Victory Hill area for both its proximity and relative quiet plus it is a good place for a swim with nice views looking back from the water up to the tree-covered Victory Hill. The beach boasts half-a-dozen beach shacks with extensive menus as well as providing sun-loungers and umbrellas. This is a great place to watch the sun sink below the horizon which is spattered with islands and marvel at the 800 metre-long bridge to Koh Puos. At the southern end of the beach sits the Airport Beach Club which features a full-size Antonov AN-24 aeroplane as it's centrepiece. During the daytime the club operates as a family-orientated beach resort and at night as a discoteque with a huge dancefloor beneath the aeroplane.
